THE PROBLEM
Diesel Was the Default. It Didn’t Have to Be.
The founders of JAM Power spent years working across the UK construction and events industries. The same frustrations appeared on every project — the noise, the fumes, the fuel runs at inconvenient hours, the generator that wouldn’t start on a cold morning. Diesel generators were accepted as an unavoidable fact of temporary power. They shouldn’t have been.
THE TECHNOLOGY
LiFePO4 Changed What Was Possible.
The maturation of lithium iron phosphate battery technology created a genuine alternative — not a compromise. LiFePO4 offered the cycle life, safety profile, and energy density to replace diesel in most temporary power applications. The technology was there. What was missing was a hire model that made it accessible.
